first marble race video i watched
(tied between these two cuz i don't remember which one came first)
first one is kinda obvious, second one might be a bit of a surprise though since i don't actually watch mlp
actually wait what the hell are "marble races" anyway??
well they're marble runs, but made in the program "algodoo"ok maybe i should try to describe it better
so basically, you get an assortment of colored marbles
and then we get them to roll/race down a track of sorts, where at the end,
the last marble that makes it to the end of THAT TRACK, is
yes there are multiple tracks and we usually call them
i'm not sure who came up with that term but they're here now and we can't stop em
anyways, at the end of the 1st leg, every marble that hasn't gotten eliminated
this process repeats over and over where near the end they kinda do like a finale course where instead,
the FIRST marble that makes it to the end wins!!
there's alot of variations of this but on average this is how most algodoo marble races go
first algicosathlon related video i watched
to be fair, if you already saw this video then you should've seen it coming
actually wait what the hell are "algicosathlons" anyway??
unlike marble races, this still IS supposed to be done quite differently,but over the years we may or may not have blurred the lines on the original definition a little
skits is probably the most noticeable difference but we'll get there in a moment
so basically, imagine you're an athlete trying to participate in an icosathlon, but you
accidentally took the wrong directions so now you're competing with a bunch of other people
in an
it's an icosathlon right, so obviously it has 20 events, but not necessairly 20 track and field events...
let's say that the first event is "race to the bowl" cuz that's what most people do as the first event
once everybody finishes that event, you get
so if you placed 3rd you might have 85 points, but if you're third-last you'll get like,
once all the scores are counted, the athlete with the LEAST amount of points is
this goes on with some variations in between, such as team events or
a chance for the eliminated atheletes to rejoin the competition
this goes on until the last person standing, wins the algicosathlon!!
ok so what were skits again
soo skits are... a short comedy sketch or piece of humorous writing, especially a parody, huh.yeahh i was just reading the google definition there
it's a little hard to describe because sometimes it's not humorous, or a parody, or short, or a sketch, or all 4 of those
usually though it's just some panels of conversations between the athletes or a poorly written attempt at an
edgy storyline created by the owner of the series
now don't get me wrong now, there ARE and WILL be good written skits in algicosathlons, but the atrocious
ones are just a little bit more noticeable...
